Learning some new skills with Jaz the Juggler!!!
This has been a daily task of the children choosing what they would like in their packed lunch. As you can see from the photos all the staff help out and we have a well oiled factory run to ensure all sandwiches are made to order and therefore eaten!! The staff all now have appropriate nicknames: Mr Reed – King of Cling!, Mrs Regan and Mrs Beven – Queens of Sandwiches, Mrs Arrowsmith – Bag Lady!!
A wet start to the day, but the rain fortunately did not arrive until we were all safely tucked up in our tents last night. The children all slept well and once again we had to wake a few tents up in order to get the children to breakfast on time. We have decided (for obvious reasons) to leave all the tents up today and hope that we get some dry weather over the weekend, and then hopefully take them down on Monday morning. The children are busily packing their bags and we will be putting them in the PAC to sort out, stuff sleeping bags etc in there.
This morning we are off to the sports hall for some juggling fun with JAZ the JUGGLER, and the children will be learning how to spin plates, juggle, and throw diablos. We will then be in the sports hall after lunch for our Year 3 and 4 Inter House Sports, starting at 2.15pm We hope as many of you as possible will be able to come and watch. As soon as this has finished please bring your child to the PAC to collect their things and medicines etc.
Look forward to seeing you all later.
Can this evening get any more fun!!!!!
A game of communication which even Mrs Phillips is getting involved in!! The aim of the game for the shepherd to direct their sheep who are blindfolded into the pen ( the rope). The only words the shepherd can use is forwards, backwards, left and right. The results so far are very amusing!!
The queue has grown for ice creams!!
The camp fire atmosphere is great - everyone is enjoying their sausage and chips...
